Whimsical gardening ideas

You need to learn how to include fun objects into your garden space if you are planning a whimsical one. You can use old garden booths and colorful boots for planters. For a whimsical touch, place tiny garden containers inside these and hang them from your garden fence. For a whimsical garden, birdcages can be used. You can place small plants inside these cages and then set them up on a wooden chair. You can also make a garden chair from concrete slabs and rocks. Then you can secure the pieces together using mortar and add creeping vegetation to the side.

A whimsical garden can add a lot of charm to an otherwise boring garden. A water feature is an excellent way to add charm and fun to your garden. A water feature such as a waterfall or trickling stream will create a relaxing atmosphere. For an extra touch of magic, place a fountain or trickling stream near a seating area. Garden art and garden decor can be added.

Use old watering cans to add some humor to your garden. The nozzle of an old watering container can be decorated with crystals of different sizes to mimic the water that leaves the container. These containers can be placed in strategic areas of your garden. You could also use glass containers to create focal points. They create a glowing ball in sunlight and are great additions to whimsical gardens.

Another way to add a playful touch to your garden is by creating a colorful and quirky pathway. Turn an old, broken or unusable pot into a beautiful pathway. Then, plant your favorite flowers along the pathway. The possibilities are limitless! Remember the lightening bars! These will make your landscape more interesting! If you're planning a garden in a small space, make it look like a zen garden. Be sure to include some unique features and mulch. Even a fun accent can be added to your garden's rim.

Layering and patina can be incorporated into whimsical landscaping designs. You can even add practical items in impractical locations. This will highlight your creativity and beauty. A pebble mosaic can be used to create a stunning and unique walkway. A vignette, or an enchanting tree can be added to this walkway to attract attention. You don't have to spend a fortune to incorporate whimsical and fun elements into your outdoor space. A whimsical garden encourages exploration.

To create a garden with a playful theme, you need to choose colors wisely. Consider the overall color scheme and theme. You can incorporate whimsical accents easily if you don't know which colors will suit your outdoor space. For inspiration, you can also look on gardening magazines or websites. Be sure to choose colors that best reflect you! You can then let your imagination run wild and add fun and whimsy outdoor spaces!

Does my backyard have enough space for a garden?

It's possible to wonder if you will have enough space for a vegetable or fruit garden if your current one is not available. The answer is yes. A vegetable garden doesn't take up much space at all. How To

Organic fertilizers to be used in the garden

Organic fertilizers can be made from natural substances, such as compost, manure and seaweed extract. The term "organic" means that they are produced using non-synthetic material. Synthetic fertilizers can be used in industrial processes. They are often used in agriculture since they provide nutrients to plants efficiently and quickly, without the need of complicated preparation. However, synthetic fertilizers pose a risk to the environment and our health. They also require large amounts energy and water to make. Due to runoff, synthetic fertilizers can pollute both groundwater as well as surface waters. This pollution is detrimental to humans and wildlife alike.

There are several kinds of organic fertilisers:

* Manure is a product of livestock eating nitrogen-rich food (a plant nutrient). It contains bacteria, enzymes, and other substances that break down the waste into simple compounds which can be easily absorbed by plants.

* Compost is a mixture of vegetable scraps and grass clippings, animal manure, and decaying leaves. It is high in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as calcium, magnesium, sulfur. It is highly porous so it can retain moisture well and release nutrients slowly.

* Fish Emulsion is a liquid product made from fish oil. It has the ability to dissolve oils, fats and is very similar to soap. It also contains trace elements like phosphorous, Nitrogen, and other elements.

* Seaweed Extract is a concentrated solution that contains minerals extracted from red algae, brown algae and green algae. It contains vitamins A and C, iron, and Iodine.

* Guano is excrement from amphibians, seabirds, bats and reptiles. It contains nitrogen, sulfur, chloride and carbon.

* Blood Meal - The remains of animals slaughtered. It is rich in protein which is useful for feeding birds and other animals. It also has trace minerals such as phosphorous, potassium, nitrogen and other nutrients.

Make organic fertilizer by combining equal parts manure, fish emulsion, and compost. Mix well. If you don't have all three ingredients, you can substitute them one for another. For example, you could mix 1 part of the fishemulsion with 2 parts of compost if only you have access to fish emulsion.

Spread the fertilizer evenly on the soil with a shovel, or tiller. Spread about a quarter cup of the mixture per square foot of growing space. To see new growth, you will need to apply more fertilizer every 2 weeks.
